dj istar aka Daniel Bigler has been following the development of electronic dance music since his early teenage years. He was mainly interested in UK Garage, Detroit Techno and Chicago House, but especially in Jungle. In the 90s he began his career under the moniker of DJ i-Star with Drum'n'Bass sets at the renowned Wasserwerk club in Bern and was quickly booked for performances all over Switzerland. In addition to his residency in Wasserwerk club, he was regularly spinning at Rohstofflager and Palais X-tra Zürich and opened for international acts such as DJ Hype or the Ragga Twins (UK). He also performed several times at Streetparade and hosted a radio show at DJ Radio Zürich.
