Experienced arts practitioner, event coordinator, and cultural organiser with a strong background in the performing arts and higher education sectors. Over the years, I’ve coordinated international and local projects ranging from jazz festivals and music workshops to academic conferences and community outreach initiatives.
As Director of the South African Association for Jazz Education (SAJE), I have led national initiatives, festivals, and international collaborations. My current work focuses on a photographic, oral history, and digital archive project documenting "A Cultural History of Jazz Education in South Africa".
In 2019, I was honoured with the 22nd Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Honours Award for my contribution to jazz education in South Africa. Since relocating to Italy in 2022, I continue to foster connections between artists, audiences, and institutions across borders.
