Dj Marcy was born on February 8th 1985 in Salvador Bahia (Brazil) and shortly after he moved to Switzerland, where he already cultivated a passion for Hip Hop and R&B music from an early age. In the late 90s he bought his first turntables so he could realized his dream of becoming a professional DJ. In 2002 he made his debut in clubs where he made a great success by mixing Hip Hop, R&B, Old School, Dirty South, Dancehall, Reggae, Reggaeton and Baile Funk, and his talent allowed him to play in various clubs in Switzerland and Italy. Meanwhile he worked with several groups where he supported them in live shows by mixing bases, scratching and playing in afterparties. A few years later he met DJ Jay-K (4 time Swiss DMC Champion, 3 time Italian ITF Champion) they started a working relationship and friendship that allowed him to increase his experience and technical knowledges in the field of Djing.
