David Kenney’s journey in dance music began at 13, evolving from early hardcore into a lifelong devotion to house, disco, and electronic grooves. After formative years on the Newcastle dancefloor, he became a central figure in the region's scene, running club nights under the Freakshow Disco banner and co-founding Durham’s DJ Wars.
As the founder of Audio Parallax Records, David has overseen 50+ releases, including six on vinyl, while curating an international mix series featuring artists like Ramon Tapia and Quenum. Beyond the club, he runs Edges, a performance series bridging the gap between traditional DJ sets and experimental sound composition.
Recently, his focus has returned to the booth with a playful, groove-led approach to house. In addition to his work with the Haus DJs collective, he helps run and DJs at the 'residency' nights at Saints Bar in Durham.
