David Dasharath Kalal's video work has been pre-
sented internationally including at the Kiasma Mu-
seum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki, the National
Gallery of Canada, the New Museum of Contempo-
rary Art, the Microwave Festival-Hong Kong, Inside/
Out-Vienna, Obscur in Stockholm, eKsperim[E]nto –
Manila, The Frameline Festival, Mix Festival, Anthol-
ogy Film Archives, Siddarth Gautam Festival, Artwal-
lah Los Angeles and Nature Morte Gallery in New
Delhi. He is currently working on a two volume album
of video works (Kalalabad/BAD KALAL I & II ) on hybridity and its discontents. Born in Manhattan,
Kalal lives and works in Sweden.
