"For me house is a feeling", says the confident but low-key veteran DJ, David Van Sant. "I discovered the music through the underground dance scene, House dancers and studied it. When I started spinning records, it all made sense".

He's played the choicest tracks at numerous events in former hometowns like Chico and Los Angeles back in California and these days in his current hometown of Portland. He has a unique and unforgettable style that is rooted in tradition but always with fresh tracks to change up the flow.
For David, it's about the art of DJ'ing and as he says, celebrating the "real culture" not trying to get caught up in the flavor of the month trends or the status. "It truly is all about the music", says David. Once you've heard him play it all makes sense.
