Moved to Wardle village near Rochdale when 8, went St James C of E School then to Roch Valley High, left with next to no qualifications. In 1977 Joined the junior Army at 16, at 17 joined the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Transferred to the Army Physical Training Corps where later specialised in injury rehabilitation.
2001 Retired from the Army, spent a little time as a Personal Trainer, Fitness coach before setting up the Academy Of Motorcycling in 2003.
Looking forward to taking a bit more time off and getting my fitness back as well as play on my bikes & boards, windsurfer, surf, snow, wake and finally kite.
Have 2 grown up children from a previous marriage, in 2007 married Angie & moved into a bungalow we had built.
Now going to have a go at being a landlord and property developer.
