I started DJ-ing back in 1998 at the tender age of 15 after being influenced by a family member. In the early 2000's I played at friends house parties, DJ competitions, local bars, local clubs. I first got my taste of playing in a club at a club called Liquid night club (UK) on Thursday nights at an event called Spanked playing warm up sets of funky house. I also joined up with my cousin to play at a local club called The Granary playing on Saturday nights. For personal reasons I stopped DJ-ing in 2004. As of 2019 I have once again taken up the decks and started a Bi-weekly Podcast show called DaFunk Radio where I play's a mixture of funky soulful house to disco to afro house. My philosophy of DJ-ing is to build my set in a manner that it not only flows but takes the listener on a journey and making them want to just get up and dance.
