Conscious Be plays Jamaican music from the 60s to now, mainly ska, rocksteady and 70s roots adding that female touch & selecting the finest in conscious music, giving Jah praises!
From Belgium originally & grown up in London, she's evolved in a rich musical terrain, working for Jetstar Music, Honest Jons and People's Sound in Notting Hill, where Daddy Vego and Roy Jamah played an important role in her musical education.
As part of the Tempo Sound Alliance with Ry Jamah and Moe Ites, the trio ran regular dances between 2009 & 2011 at the Camden Barfly where they invited top selectors including Asher G, R.S. Digital, Tiny T, Duke Neville, Ras Digby. CB's played all over town, including at the Hootananny Brixton with Cecil Reuben as well as other venues in the area which was her neighbourhood.
Now based in Brussels, CB keeps moving forward, hosting her Soul Vibration events and collaborating with selectors from London as well as local and European actors of today's Reggae scene.
