Conscious Be is from Belgium originally, but grown up in London mainly- Reggae has been her music of choice since she was able to choose, and is naturally taking step after step to becoming a quality selector. She has worked in the music industry for Jetstar Music, Honest Jons record shop and People's Sound in Notting Hill. As part of the Tempo Sound Alliance with Ry Jamah and Moe Ites, the trio ran regular dances between 2009 & 2011 at the Camden Barfly where they invited top selectors Asher G, R.S. Digital, Tiny T, Duke Neville, Ras Digby, Sufferah, Cecil Reuben, Reggae Twins amongst others. They regularly appeared at Shoreditch Cafe 1001 also. Conscious Be has kept growing musically throughout & plays Jamaican music from the 60s to now, mainly ska, rocksteady and 70s roots adding that female touch & selecting the finest in conscious music.
