Cutting my teeth behind the decks early 80's spinning Northern and sixties soul at various clubs and nights in my local area..
Skip to 1988 and along comes the house scene which sweeps me along and i learn the art of mixing and start playing at various events, clubs and raves. By the mid 90's i've adopted the name Rockin Chris Redman and with my dj partner Glenn The Tooth we run under the name of Viva La Vinyl and land residencies and guest slots across clubland London and the South East on the house and garage scene.. Good times ;-)
Skip to the year 2000 and i find myself being drawn back to the soul scene and start spinning the 7's once again... this eventually leads to starting 81 Soul Club and Soul On The Square in London....
2017 and back to house music, various events in UK and abroad.. Music is my life... see you on the dancefloor x
