It's only playing other peoples records, but bloody hell there's a lot to choose from.
I have records from rhythm and blues to jazz, soul and a big chunk of what I've come to label as old Jamaican. History will have some geographical reference to where this all comes from and why and I can tell you and Ii can tell you if you like. It's kind of interesting, kind of not.
