Growing up on an eclectic diet of Salsa and Soul provided by their parents’ record collection, DJ Cam_One is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by their family’s love of music, DJ Cam_One took up DJ’ing and turntablism at age 12. It was only a few years later that DJ Cam_One discovered his love for DJ’ing at local house parties and roller skating rinks.
Now a regular fixture of Miami’s nightlife/club scene, DJ Cam_One has shared the stage with such well-known artists and DJ’s such as Radamas, The Baka Boyz, Mr. Mauricio, Wizard Sleeve, Inspectah Deck, and Talib Kweli with specialization in 90’s Hip-Hop, Funk, Latin and Deep/NYC house music.
2014 looks to be a busy year for DJ Cam_One as he begins his residency at ‘75 Main’ in Delray Beach Fridays and South Beach’s 'Treehouse' Lounge on Saturdays while continuing music production releasing deep/tech house singles. Look out for DJ Cam_One coming to a city near you.
