Back2Back DJ Battle – Eossi vs Jawrs

The best DJ battle in the world right now is back for yet another thrilling showcase. Back2Back DJ Battle’s May 2026 edition reached its climax with London-based DJ, drummer and producer Eossi going toe to toe with multi-genre selector Jawrs. The contestants were tested on their track selections and had to score two out of three available to win the contest. Our brains are still trying to compute what we’re hearing. Tune in for pure back-to-back and track-for-track flips.

koxwell – Lounge Beat Vol. 1

In stark contrast, this is a mix for maxing and relaxing. Relax-maxxing as the youth might say! Mexico-based koxwell has been providing vibes since 2014, blending all kinds of musical shades and colours. ‘Lounge Beat Vol. 1’ is a new step into tranquility, with Downtempo and Chillout on show. But with some uptempo grooves to make your feet twitch.

IDA Raadio – Footnotes w/ Ninjet 19.05.26

We’re very familiar with the magic that IDA Raadio conjures daily; this is just another slice of spellbinding music. Irish selector Ninjet pulled up to IDA’s Helsinki station for her regular dose of ‘Footnotes.’ You can hear UK Funky, Dubstep, Jungle, Bruk and other club-favoured sounds. Her latest show features the likes of JayaHadADream, Spooky Bizzle, GRRL, Tim Reaper and more.

Paul Oakenfold – Planet Perfecto 811

Did you know that the enigmatic legend known as Paul Oakenfold has a Mixcloud profile? On top of a career that should be turned into a biopic – where he had a helping hand in establishing electronic music as a force in the 1980s and 1990s – his ‘Perfect Perfecto’ radio show has been going for over 800 episodes. The 811th edition sees Oakenfold turn his attention to Trance, delivering exclusives, unreleased tunes and remixes.

Porch FM – Porch Mini – South America

Canada’s very own Porch FM recently put together an ode to the sounds of South America, a vast musical landscape that’s given the world so much. From Samba and Bossa Nova to Tropicalia, Porch are drawing the lines of influence between these sun-kissed genres and popular music today. They describe this mix as “but a taste” of this influence, which goes a long way in showing the musical depth of South America at large.

Duburban – Dub Sessions Podcast #59 May 2026

I can only speak for myself but I love a good pun, so Duburban caught me hook, line and sinker. The music’s great too; two hours of Dub, Roots and Reggae selections that conjure up images of blues parties, soundsystems and carnivals across the Caribbean and beyond. Sounds come from Dennis Brown, Pablo Gad, Brigadier Jerry, Trinity, Ken Boothe and more. There’s nothing like Dub!

Mondo Jazz 366-2

“This is a Jazz world,” as it says in Mondo Jazz’s bio on their Micloud page. No truer words have ever been spoken. The New York-based platform prides itself in its expansive Jazz sessions ranging from older sounds to new subgenres. Their latest helping, as they put it, as a “time-travelling playlist where emerging artists modernize tradition and elder statesmen pay homage to their heroes, or join forces with younger voices.” This collaborative nature to Jazz is what makes it so great and forever changing, which is just fine with us.
