Do you want to add your Mixcloud shows to your website and let the music do the talking? Don’t fret, our Mixcloud embeds are here to help! They come in various shapes and sizes and can be seamlessly integrated into your product. The best part? It just takes a couple of steps.
But first…
Before we get started, an important note: You only have access to Mixcloud embeds on a desktop computer, so keep this in mind when you find shows you like or want to embed your own shows.
How to find our widgets
You can find our embed firstly by clicking the ‘Share’ button on a show page, see below for where it’s located.

Once you hit ‘Share’ you’ll see the ‘Share a show’ window with options to either share the show link or embed the show player. Click ‘Embed player’ and you’ll find a selection of widget types: Picture Widget, Classic Widget, Mini Widget.

The different types of widget
The Picture Widget contains a wide scale image of the show. Our Classic Widget is smaller in scale with the show image player, timer and share, favourite and repost buttons on display. The Mini Widget contains everything the Classic Widget does, except the timer. All Mixcloud embeds come in either light or dark mode so you can pick which works best for your site.
Below the widgets, you’ll find the embed code. Simply copy the code and paste it into your website’s back end for the widget to appear on the front end for your visitors to check out.
Other embedding options
Depending on the system you use – whether it be WordPress, WebFlow or others – you may need to install additional plugins for the embed code to work properly. If WordPress is your provider, click the checkbox next to ‘WordPress’ below the embed code. You’ll get a customized code that seamlessly integrates into your backend.

To tailor the embed even closer to your site, press ‘More Options.’ You’ll be able to remove the show artwork, play the show automatically and manage the width of the player.

If you want to embed an entire playlist rather than a show, follow these steps on a creator’s profile page. Select one of their playlists and click ‘Share’ next to the playlist name. Then, once embedded, you have all the shows in the playlist under a single player on your website. That way, you can showcase the various tunes and voices under one roof!
Happy embedding!
If you’re a DJ, writer or podcaster, bringing your favourite Mixcloud shows further into your online presence via embeds will go a long way in showcasing your tastes to your audience. Bring them closer to the music you love and ensure they navigate your website with some great background sounds. Mixcloud embeds make it all possible!
