Happy New Year Mixclouders! 2024 was another great one for music both on Mixcloud and beyond. Whether you predicted the continued rise of genres like Afrobeats and Jazz, platforms like Victory Lap or DJs like Taylah Elaine and DJ AG, 2024 delivered in several incredible ways. We saw amazing music, sets, parties and moments throughout, and we’re still catching up on everything that’s happened!

Now that the new year is here, we want to take some time to think about 2025. How will it shape up musically? What should we be looking forward to? To help us with that, we asked our community – including a couple of famous faces – to predict the next year in music, including DJs to look out for, genres that will become popular and some wild predictions.
