Three years ago this week the legend and icon that is Tony Wilson passed away. He was responsible for one of the most famous clubs of the 20th century, Manchester’s Hacienda. But also the man behind Factory Records, home of the likes of The Happy Mondays and Joy Division. To celebrate the life of ‘Mr Manchester’, Graeme Parks of Key 103 has uploaded the radio show that he made in the wake of Tony’s death three years ago.

Marshall Jefferson, Mike Pickering, Arthur Baker, James Barton from Cream, Jon Dasilva and others share their memories of Tony and The Hacienda over a soundtrack of classic Hacienda tunes. This is guaranteed to bring back the greatest of memories for those that were lucky enough to experience the Hacienda. For those of you that never managed to get there, you’ll wish you had!

An amazing Cloudcast that sums up exactly what Madchester was all about at it’s peak. Enjoy!
