Growing up in Ann Arbor, MI, Detroit music is in my blood. From Motown, to punk, to Techno (electronic punk rock?), House and Electro, almost everything I like is influenced by my home state. I feel lucky that I grew up listening to WJLB, WDET and WCBN, while also watching The New Dance Show.
I started going to parties in Detroit in 1992 and it changed my life, influencing my interests in Music, Fashion and Experiential Design.
I moved to NYC in 1996 and dove into Club Kid culture and got a whole new schooling on Fashion and culture, especially sneaker culture and streetwear.
I boomeranged back to MI in 2014 and am so happy to be back in the Murder Mitten. I have been DJing for over 30 years, but only just started recording mixes again.
