Azhaar is a singer/violinist /composer and recording artist. She forged a reputation with popular Brazilian group Sirius B with whom she released 6 albums; followed by a jazz album, 'Out There' with musical partner Joe Cavanagh, featuring performances from Iain Ballamy and Jason Rebello.
After spending a few years in Costa Rica she returned to the UK to form her present group 'Global Wave' who released a world jazz album, 'Original Love' featuring a fantastic production of the title track by Snowboy!

Azhaar has also travelled extensively from the age of 3, spending her early life between Bangor, Baghdad and Chicago and more recently relocated to Costa Rica
She learnt the blues in Chicago, bossa nova in Brazil ,‘‘latin’ music and surfing in Costa Rica and salsa dancing in Mexico City!
