Theogen is an exploration of what is possible in the realm of creating electronic music from scratch live on stage. The end goal is to be able to create music using electronic machines with the same fluidity as a traditional instrument like a guitar or violin. I believe that improvisation inhibits a performer's ability to filter their ideas through their preconceived notions and judgmental thoughts. Creativity comes through as a stream of consciousness that I believe projects something akin to a collective subconsciousness that binds all living things together.
