It all began in 1989 when I 1st heard House Music....I was 14 yrs old and it was on a Friday night in front of my parents house in (Little Village) Chicago. My buddies were outside playing it out of a boombox, it was on WBMX, and it was a live mix (Bad Boy Bill). It was then that my heart and soul took interest in House music and was always tuning in on every Friday and Sat. night. I could not wait to figure out a way to learn how these mixes were put together. So I started to go to local clubs and discovered that vinyl records, 2 turntables, a microphone, and a mixer was the essentials to becoming a DJ and thats what started it all! Thru older friends and cousins who also were interested in Djing, we practiced and practiced until we had grasped the ability to count the beats and blend the music and we had a blast. I am stoked to have learned how to mix and over the course of all of these years, I have been able to play at family events, weddings, and so forth. thanks for supporting.
