DJ Jimmy #TheHeat, residing in the Chicago area, specializes in playing House/Dance music.
Growing up on the northwest side of Chicago (USA), DJ Jimmy #TheHeat started mixing with Realistic mixers and turntables in the early 80s. He is a proud member of BlueMoon Media. Jimmy's mixes have been on the radio and streamed worldwide.
DJ Jimmy #TheHeat was highly influenced by Chicago’s House music scene and would listen to the world-famous Hot Mix 5 DJ team. In fact, Jimmy would often record these Hot Mix 5 radio mixes and hone his DJ craft by replaying these mix tapes. He would spend his available time and money at Gramaphone Records. Besides the Hot Mix 5 DJ team, DJ Jimmy #TheHeat credits one of his biggest influences as DJ Pumpin’ Pete (2X Chicago DMC Champion and Turntablist).
Today, DJ Jimmy #TheHeat continues to play House/Dance music throughout the Chicago area while supporting other local DJs.
