Colombian DJ/Producer VanDoorn (born Guillermo Mahecha) loves to take you on a trip into deep musical and funky grooves. His mixes are inspired by raw funk, soulful jazz, and everything else on that spectrum. Born in Bogotá and adopted by Dutch parents he spent almost his whole life in the Netherlands. The name VanDoorn is a homage to his Dutch parents. In the Netherlands, he got educated in all types of music(Soul, Funk, jazz, Rap, Reggae, and House) and had a career in rap and mc-ing (House and Drum 'n Bass).
