Georges Dahrouj, also known as DJ Volt, did not have a normal upbringing for an artist. Born in Zahle, Lebanon, Georges was raised by a widowed mother who raised him with nothing but love and perseverance. He’s been on the decks since his childhood and started producing tracks at 16 years old. With what his father left him when he passed away, Georges bought what he could from DJaying equipment, to lighting and special effects machines and started playing at family parties, friends gatherings, birthdays, and private events before moving on to his own hometown clubs. He recently moved from Zahle to Beirut in attempt to boost his DJaying career and started off by playing in one of Lebanon’s most renown clubs One Beirut. Georges has had a lot of time to develop his music in his self-built home studio.
