When I was growing up in the UK I listened to DJs like Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold... and I soaked up mixes from clubs like Cream, Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound... In those days there was no real distinction between house, trance, techno, if it was a great tune they played it, if it wasn't they didn't.

Twice A Second is my attempt to recapture that spirit. Too much electronic music today is about pigeonholing, is it techno, tech-house, minimal? Who cares. These mixes will take in whatever sounds great in the world of electronic music. The only rule is a rough self imposed speed limit, twice a second, 120bpm, that's the thread weaving through these electronic excursions.
