Having worked most of the ‘top’ clubs of the 80’s including: Blinkers, Millionaire, Brubakers, Heriots, Hamilton’s, Marcus was the highest paid DJ in Manchester. He and his new family moved to Spain in 1988, he bought a bar in Alicante and called it ‘Trader Jack’s’ after his son.
He trialled on Piccadilly Radio 261 (but Gary Davies got the job) and was one of the first presenters on the original land locked ‘Pirate Radio Station’ KFM Radio in Stockport.
He returned to the UK after being told of his father’s ill health in 1992 and re-joined KFM Radio (legal this time)on their re-launch in 2014 were he stayed until 2016 then on to Golden Grooves Radio.
Here you will find some of his previous shows from both KFM and Golden Grooves Radio plus his new contribution to the music and comedy world which is ...The Max Factor Do ....A show unlike no other...no adverts...no chit chat....no jingles....just pure snippets from some of the best hits past and present with mini comedy breaks.
