The most important skill that any DJ can develop is the ability to read a crowd and play to them. It's giving the dance floor what they want.
DJ Groovemaker is dedicated first and foremost to creating a really great dance floor experience for all. He has been dubbed 'the dancer pleaser' by some of (arguably) the hardest of all dancers to please - Fire Dancers!
For 6 years Groovemaker served in roughly 300 live performances with a Fire Dance Troupe as their main MC, Troubadour, and Maestro. It was during this time that he began his quest to incorporate elements of live music with electronic beats and samples.
In 2010, Groovemaker released 'She's Like Magic', an original song that successfully blended acoustic instrumentation with electronic sounds. Since then, he has recorded and produced two full-length EP's with the experimental electronica group, La Boheme Reverie, and most recently has released his own music including an electronic cover of Madonna's 'Erotica'.
