under the band name- "Roxx Hoffner & The Straightjackets" . The name I come up with off the top of my head, while I was entering the competition. At the time I didn't have a name for the band and since I didn't expect to do well with my unfinished, rough mixes that I entered with .. I came up with the band name as a joke. But I'm not sure if I should change it or what to change it to!
The songs I entered in the competition were recorded at Stanton Burns' Home Recording Studio [TheSoundCave] with Kurt Derita on bass, Ken Joriet on drums, Jack Byrd on sax and myself [Tim Byrd] on guitars and vocals. The tracks I entered were rough mixes Stan did up so I could listen to on the 4 hr. drive back to Shingletown, CA.
