Born in Richmond, VA, ShiZaru moved to Japan where she worked in education, publishing, entertainment and primarily video game production for over a decade before returning to NYC in '04 to work as a pedagogue. After outing as an artist in '07, in '08 ShiZaru discovered dub began a musical collaboration with DJ Morphous which led to the founding of the Tsunami Bass Experience (津波低音経験) and their event enhancement and edutainment company - MorphSaru Productions (モーフ猿プロ)。Now living life as a full-time edutainer, performing artist, musician & MC instrumentalist as well as CEO of Tsunami Bass Sound System and SaruBOOM curator, sir also co-produces a yearly interactive art installation called The TBE~WaVe~ that appears at various Bass Culture/BM related events, burns and festivals around the globe~! ~#師猿 #ShiZaru #4thMonkey #想像は命
