One half of both Mako & Mr Bristow and Mako & The Hawk, Mako has supported The Allergies, Big Boss Man and The Bongolian, played at Funk Addict, 45Live and the Funk a Bylette Festival, previously held a monthly club residency in central Bristol for six years and continues to run the https://monkeyboxing.com/ website. These days, the vinyl sets are all 45 and mainly all about either his first love - funky soul - or rocksteady and early reggae, though on occasion hip-hop and party breaks get pulled out of the bag!
