Sproon’s journey into music began in the early 90s with a passion for house music. Starting with vinyl and early gigs, he gained recognition as a resident DJ at 90s parties like "The Leeds" and "Space Invaders." In 1998, he won his first DJ contest with a set blending Bonzai Records and The Prodigy. To fund university, Sproon became a resident at "Cafe de Koe," where he shifted from vinyl to CDs, mixing house music with diverse styles to energize the crowd.

As life’s demands grew, DJing took a backseat. In the mid-2010s, he rediscovered his passion through digital DJing, updating his collection. After working in Dubai and Germany, Sproon returned to Amsterdam in 2022, playing energetic techno sets infused with classic sound bites. Inspired by labels like XL, Drumcode, and Bonzai, his sets blend old-school vibes with modern techno, creating a unique, driving sound that connects with a wide audience.
