After hearing Andy c's nightlife 2 in 2004, I bought a second hand pair of belt driven turtables and started collecting dnb records with my mates. Some of the best times of my youth were spent crate diggin or waiting for packages from the UK via Chemical-Records (rip). Spending hours trying to find tunes we heard at gigs or raves was all part of the allure. I was hooked into the culture from then on. After some time and many many trainwrecks and poor blends, we started putting on our own outdoor events at the Maitai, Wairoa Gorge and the Cobb Valley. Also getting to play gigs at the Phat Club, Sandwiches, Double Happy in Chch were highlights. During that time I was lucky enough to DJ with some of the people i looked up to like...
