I have been collecting music since I was 8 years old. I started DJing when I was 13 on my grandmother's single record player listening to a mix on the radio trying to match up the beats from my records with those on the radio. When I was 14 fourteen I got my first set of turntables and started practicing on a daily basis upwards of 8 to 10 hours a day. I got my first residency when I was 16 and two years later I was asked to be the resident DJ at the biggest club in Tampa, Pleasuredome.
I first started out playing breakbeats, but then became heavily influenced by the British invasion in the late 1990s by great DJs such as John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Nick Warren, to name a few.
At the age of 21 I set DJing aside to go to college, but after 8 years and several degrees later I still find myself drawn to music. I do not consider myself a one genre DJ, but a mixture of all genres; always mixing the best in electronica, old and new.
