Rose Alice, a vibrant DJ on the New Zealand musical landscape for over two decades is known for her fusion of funk, disco and house music becoming a key player in the Tāmaki nightlife scene.
Raised in the rich musical environment of the 1970’s, she was profoundly influenced by the funk and soul grooves that surrounded her. Now gracing the decks at some of the coolest venues and festivals -Kemuri Hi-Fi, Goblin, Nami Record Bar, Queens Rooftop, Hallertau and in August '25 co-piloting Frank Booker's successful House Of Booker club night at Double Whammy In Auckland.
Playing blazing festival sets at Splore, Shipwrecked, Abracadabra at Ponderossa Ranch, Prana and lent her vocal stylings to acclaimed NZ soul-jazz duo After’Ours, featuring on “Day After Day’ and “Work It Out’ and has hosted shows on independent radio stations, Base FM, KFM and Planet Sauce.
Her unique blend of talent and experience Rose Alice continues to make her mark for the love of music. Music is the Key!
