The London-based, South Korean electronica and visual artist @JaehoHwang got us hooked with his debut release on @Chinabot last year. The EP entitled 'Non-self 비자아’ explores identity in the digital age and is inspired by Buddhist concepts of impermanence and non-selfhood. Within this context, Jaeho samples traditional Korean instruments, recasting traditional textures into modern form. Jaeho's music generally draws from dark, stuttering beats from London’s experimental club scene, and deconstructed industrial sounds.
Here, he presents a wide-ranging mix featuring mostly Pan-Asian artists.
