Overvolt has been obsessed with music of many genres his entire life. As a younger guy, he played violin, bass, electric guitar, and some brass instruments. There were nights where he would sit in his room and listen to music literally all night on his headphones instead of sleep. He is also a software engineer and as an adult, made the realization that software has permeated and revolutionized every industry, including music. He enjoys combining software and music, making unique sounds, syncopated beats, and is obsessed with crisp syncopations. As a DJ, Overvolt currently enjoys mixing various forms of house music, classic hip-hop, scratching, sampling, drumming, and some pop music as well.
