I grew up trotting around the globe. Although I was born in Ann Arbor, I spent only a year there, then four in Stockholm, four in Bogor, Indonesia, and six and a half in Mexico City, where I attended the wonderful (British) Greengates School. I finished the last two years of high school in Hudson, Ohio, then went to Rensselaer in upstate New York for undergraduate (with a lovely semester on exchange at Williams College immersing myself in liberal arts).

I came to Madison for graduate school, and ended up loving it here. My day job is as a software developer.
