Nottingham-based DJ James Nelmes brings together deep house, disco, Chicago influences and leftfield club music, with one rule running through it all: it has to have groove.

His sets move comfortably between warm, sun-soaked house and deeper late-night territory, digging through old favourites, forgotten gems and new music rather than chasing whatever happens to be trending.

Equally at home building an early dancefloor or pushing things harder as the night develops, James plays with a sense of fun, musicality and an eye on the crowd.
