Nathan AutomAte has an intricate and diverse musical background, where his trip through hip-hop, breakbeat mix tapes & radio shows led him to the dnb scene. He can be found playing anything from the deep, neurofunk sound to techy, amen-driven styles.
After years behind the wheels of steel, the studio is beckoning but during this time, Nathan continues to drive for more acclaimed spots. Expect moody versatility and an eclectic style.

AutomAte is a collective formed of Deficit, Esion, DX Machina & Nathan E. We share a mutual love of dark, techy drum & bass, although we are involved with a range of other bass-led genres. We DJ and write music individually and together. We have a have a pair of digital labels launching later this year, AutomAte Deep and AutomAte Tech. The Deep label aims to put the warmth back into drum & bass with a range of deep, eclectic, inspirational music, influenced by anything from the Far East to South America
