Nakosta Yoris is a Franco-Swiss DJ and producer who first stepped behind the decks in France in the late '90s, before putting down roots in Berlin's electronic scene.
A fixture of the city's underground since the early 2010s, he founded the Lust Bar in Berlin in 2014, turning it into a home for late-night electronic music.
In 2021, he launched his own imprint, Lust Records Berlin, releasing music that ranges from hip-hop-tinged collaborations with Trooper Da Don to club-ready house.
Focusing now on his solo trajectory, his catalogue also includes past releases under the duo name Paul und Smith and tracks on Deep, including “The Old Way” and “Disobey”.
His latest single, “Kaputt” (feat. Hire Me) on Katermukke, was backed by remixes from Frank Muller, Beroshima, Niconé & Dirty Doering — irony, destruction and a dash of humor packed into one EP!
Behind the decks, he leans on careful track selection, giving the crowd and the room time to build naturally.
