Born in northern Boston, NAK!MA spent his youth in the hardcore/punk scene that was running riot thru the city at the time. It wasn't until around 1996, at the age of 15, that he traded in his red mohawk and the back-alley Boston streets, for a stack of flyers and a Brooklyn warehouse pumping a rhythmatic, addictive bassline. Many long nights getting lost on such legendary dancefloors as The Tunnel, Sound Factory, Limelight and Speeed Afterhours followed, not to mention the thriving underground party scene at the time.

Fast forward to 2007, in an ever changing scene, NAK!MA opted for change himself and moved to Miami, landing a job with the club Nocturnal in Downtown. Within a few weeks he was accepted as a "Miami local" and will always have a special place in his heart for the unique city.

NAK!MA (born Bradley A. Boyd) now resides in Los Angeles, where his sights aren't just limited to the inner-city nightlife, but all things that encompass the arts and entertainment industries
