Moana Lisa & World Productions threw their 1st rave in a corn field in No. central Indiana. The party, called Alien Acres, was influenced by the mid-90's rave/ club scene in CHI & South Bend where Moana Lisa got her start.
Leaving South Bend in 1998, she moved to MKE and immersed herself in the DJ scene. Playing at local venues Dish, Cush, Barcode, Thai Joes, Mars Hotel, Pure & Taylor's-Moana Lisa's smooth mixes blended Prog, House, Trance, Drum & Bass, & Techno-always keeping the dance floor moving.
By 2001, Moana Lisa resided at Three, playing multiple nights a week and booking prominent DJ's such as Noel Sanger, Honey Dijon & SuperJane.
Playing Chicago, Madison, Appleton & Green Bay, Moana Lisa's career high point was playing the Discotech stage from 2000-03 at Summerfest, headlining in 2003. She has released 4 cd's and has played multiple times on WMSE's late night beat generation.
Returning after a 15 year hiatus, this veteran of vinyl is ready to spin again.
