Melvin Dataram (1983) is a Dutch DJ and Producer from The Hague, whose musical career started in 2003 on belt drive turntables. He became mesmerized by the sound of Detroit and Tribal Techno. Between 2003 and 2014, Melvin performed as a DJ at various venues in The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam under several aliases. After taking a 3-year music sabbatical, Melvin resumed his musical career in 2017, realizing he couldn’t part forever with his true passion – DJ’ing and electronic music.

Nowadays, his style resembles a blend of US House, Disco and Techno with a knack for fusing classic DJ’ing with live elements and turntablism.

He is also a member of DJ collective D32E.
