Originating from Alexandroupoli, Greece and based in Thessaloniki. Manos Paraschakis (aka Art Matters) started studying music at the age of 5 and got his diploma in music theory by the age of 16. At the same time he was taking guitar & piano lessons. One year later he started DJing and performed his first gig at the age of 19. Since that day he performed in a few gigs in Alexandroupoli, Thessaloniki and was a radio producer on Focus Radio. He is also owner & founder of Subterranean Culture. Influenced by Mr.G, Theo Parrish, Larry Heard, Moodymann, Move D & more, his main focus is to create a unique atmosphere with dark - underground grooves through his sets.
