I guess my love for DJ'ing started back in the mid 80s. I was into Hip Hop at the time. I couldnt afford a pair of DJ turntables, so used to use 2 Hi-Fi's next to each other. I got my first pair of Technics in 1991. The British Dance scene was erupting at this time. Rave was huge, and super clubs like Cream & Ministry of Sound had opened up. In the early 90s I started DJ'ing every week at house parties and illegal raves around Liverpool & Manchester. Over the years I have had a number of residencies in bars and clubs.
My favourite venue was PURE in Liverpool. It was the Cream after club, and was always rammed. Warmed up many a top DJ during my residency there (John Digweed, Danny Rampling, JK)
I loved rocking the crowd there. Everyone was up for it.
Recent events have included Twist & Pout at the Magnet & Funk You! at The Lemon Lounge. I've side lined with Liverpools finest including Vertigo, John Cotton, Steve Parry & Jay Walsh.
