Aphrosoul is a musical, cultural, and spiritual polymath. In addition to being a captivating DJ, he is a spiritual conduit, plant-based yogi, Usui/Tibetan Reiki master teacher, and founder of Lukumi People Music & Oracle Bohemian Artifacts.
Aphrosoul has been in the music scene for more than half his life. He has worked as a club security doorman, promotor, dancer, and radio personality. His deep-house DJ sets can be best described as “ancient future soul music.” He’s spun alongside a litany of iconic DJs and musicians that include DJ Spinna, Rich Medina, Quentin Harris, Danny Krivit, Tony Humphries, Osunlade, Carlos Mena, Barbara Tucker, Julie Dexter, Donnie, Tamara Wellons, Les Nubians, Amel Larrieux, After 7, and Wunmi. His lifelong connection to music transcends the body, mind, and soul.
