Curtis L. Kemp is the CEO and founder of DES Gospel Entertainment, a Kingdom-focused record label dedicated to producing Spirit-led music that transforms lives.
Born into a musical family and inspired by his mother, a DJ, Curtis began DJing at 14 and managing artists by 16. After serving over 20 years in the U.S. Army, he returned to his first love—music and ministry.
He launched Double Edge Sword Records in 2004, later transforming it into DES Gospel Entertainment in 2021. Beyond music, Curtis is also the visionary behind Gearing-Up Daily, Food for Thought, and Under His Wings—three devotional platforms designed to inspire spiritual growth and daily transformation.
Through his leadership, Curtis continues to bridge creativity and calling, proving that gospel music is not just sound—it’s a Kingdom movement.
