The Corals eighth studio album, 'Distance Inbetween', in my opinion, is up there with their best work. It's atmospheric, full of hazy imagery and lyrics that paint obvious pictures in your mind.
James Skelly and myself were chatting previously about some of the bands he's produced for his record label 'Skelton Key Records', but this time it was all about The Coral. We talked about why Merseyside breeds so many successful psychedelic bands, how this album is full of mistakes, and how the imagery he creates for lyrics comes from within himself.
