JHS is the alias for Joost Slager. Joost Slager was born in the eastern part of The Netherlands in 1982. At the age of 10 he came in contact with dance music true compact-discs and cassettes from his brother. Within the years he began to appreciate more and more different styles and learned to love them in there own way.

From the age of 16 he began to visit festivals like Mysteryland, Thunderdome, DefQuon 1, Trance Energy and many more together with his brother in law. From this moment on he has been hooked up on different electronic music styles.
