JENAYLA was born and raised in Australia, in the beautiful surroundings of South East Queensland. Born into a musical family, this allowed JENAYLA an early understanding of melody and lyric. She further refined her skills in the studio and live performance, touring professionally in Australia.
During this time JENAYLA began her collaboration with award winning Composer/Producer Roberto Merlini, who having had releases on Café Del Mar, encouraged JENAYLA to further explore her passion for Lounge Music. This developed partnership led JENAYLA and Roberto to produce the EP VISION and now the released debut album INSIGHT.
JENAYLA’s music is inspired from artists such as Sade, Nitin Sawhney, Gaelle, Clara Hill and artists featured on compilation labels such as Buddha Bar, Hotel Costes, Café Del Mar and Ministry of Sound.
Her songs are currently being played and promoted by radio stations throughout Europe - Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia and the US.
