I was obsessed with Electro and Techno vinyl around 2003 - 2006. It was a unique period in production and I collected exclusively from Kokon to Zai in Soho, London.

The mixing was all done under a railway arch in the east end where the vibrations would sometimes cause distortion but at least I could bang it as loud as the Missions could provide.

I was not the best beat matcher and this was before any kind of fancy 'no fail' equipment. So please excuse any rough bits, it was a passion for the hard, new sound which simply fascinated me.

My feelings were intensified, I realised, by the fact that I come of age in the house/rave era so it seeped into my DNA. The 'Electro' scene undoubtedly produced some of the most incredible music of recent times.
